Sketchbook

Howdy Rudy fans!

Since we’re still in production on the long-anticipated ninth issue of
The Legend of Rudy McBacon, we’re going to try to post some
new artwork here to slake your thirst for fresh McBacon.

Enjoy!

Done in the style of the old Free Crappy Drawings, here are a couple of pics showing
popular Rudy McBacon characters and how they’ve been spending the work stoppage.

“Eli Manning” by Frank A., February, 2012

It wasn’t that long ago that Eli was Omaha-ing his way right onto my shit list, now he’s become only the second professional athlete to make it into my sketchbook. Who’s the first, you say? Take a look…

February, 2012: We’ve been trying to track down some of our art that has made it’s way onto random websites. Recently I found this beauty, which I sort of remember doing for a guy at the 2010 Con. Previously, Derek and Rich both did these drawings of one of our comic book pals, along with some other fantastic artists. Rich was also featured in a Comic-Con story in the San Diego Reader, it even mentioned our somewhat obscure comic. If you stumble across more of our old art, bathroom graffiti or Free Crappy Drawings, send us an e-mail.

Can’t get enough free crappy drawings? Follow this link to an old album of sketches,
dating back to 2007, that beautiful time when MySpace was cool, the New York Mets were a contender and people refused to believe that the future was just around the corner.
